Often enough, life appears to be strung together through simple coincidence but much less often it is apparent certain circumstances are golden opportunities. Finding Infinity is one such golden opportunity through the combined efforts of Infinite Family and Peter Ngqibs. The necessity for Infinite Family, an organization that benefits children who have been adversely affected by the AIDS epidemic in Sub-Saharan Africa, to branch out in the family oriented communities of Millburn/Short Hills/ Maplewood is undeniable. When Peter Ngqibs had planned his first independent concert, he felt that he could truly create a momentous event by essentially donating his liveliness to this most amiable charity. In hopes of raising awareness for the charity’s mission, Ngqibs has gone above and beyond by donating new unreleased material to Infinite Family on his third record, Infinite Winner. Featuring tracks written with Infinite Family in mind, he wishes to be the spirited voice of the organization. August 29th in the Prospect Presbyterian Church marks Ngqibs’ first independent concert, as well as Infinite Family’s venture into New Jersey.
